Nimo Safeguarding

I’m Jacqueline Robson—though most people know me as Jac. I founded Nimo Safeguarding in October 2025 after more than 20 years working to safeguard and enable positive outcomes for children, young people, and communities.
Based in the North East of England, a region I’m proud to call home, my work has also taken me across the UK at a national level. I’ve collaborated with organisations and partners in every corner of the country, and I hope to continue supporting diverse communities nationwide.
My career has taken me through some of the UK’s most recognised children’s charities, including Action for Children and BBC Children in Need, where I also collaborated with corporate partners such as TikTok, McDonald’s, and BBC Studios. While proud of the impact I made, I realised I could achieve even greater change by working independently—sharing my expertise more widely to strengthen safeguarding across both the voluntary and private sector.
Safeguarding and empowering children and young people is in my blood. I’ve led the safeguarding across campaigns that placed their voices at the centre, driving real, lasting change. In a voluntary capacity, I also successfully chaired my children’s local swimming club for almost four years—strengthening governance and embedding safe, effective practices at a community level.

People often commend me for my calm, approachable, and solution-focused nature. I genuinely love working with people, building strong relationships, and helping organisations find practical ways forward.
Now, I help organisations—big and small—do the same.
