Training & Development That Builds Confidence, Culture, and Capability
At Nimo Safeguarding, training is designed and delivered to go beyond compliance—creating learning experiences that empower individuals, strengthen organisational culture, and drive lasting change. With over two decades of experience across the voluntary sector, I have successfully led the development of training programmes for staff, volunteers, trustees, and senior leaders.
From bespoke safeguarding sessions and online harm workshops to engaging training that supports staff in managing difficult conversations, my approach is rooted in continuous improvement, collaboration, and care. Each programme is tailored to the needs of individual organisations and teams.
Whether building internal capacity or responding to emerging risks, I will equip teams with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to safeguard effectively—and lead with integrity.
Online Safety That Protects, Educates, and Empowers
At Nimo Safeguarding, expert support is provided to organisations navigating the complex and ever-changing digital landscape. Drawing on extensive experience leading safeguarding for BBC Children in Need and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders—including major social networking platforms—I have developed robust online harm frameworks, training programmes, and policy guidance that protect children and young people while enabling their safe interactions on popular social media platforms.
My approach is proactive and rooted in lived experience, equipping organisations with the knowledge they need to operate safely and promote best practices to the children, young people, and communities they serve. I work alongside teams to embed safeguarding into digital campaigns, social media engagement, and online service delivery—ensuring risks are identified, mitigated, and transformed into learning opportunities.
Whether developing content or engaging online communities, I help organisations create safer digital spaces where young people feel secure, supported, and empowered.

Safe Storytelling That Amplifies Voices and Protects Dignity
At Nimo Safeguarding, storytelling is recognised as a powerful tool for change—but only when it’s done safely. The safe storytelling service supports organisations to share lived experiences with integrity, ensuring every voice is heard, honoured, and protected.
I work with organisations to embed trauma-informed, ethical practices across campaigns, training, and service design. Whether amplifying the voices of children, young people, or communities, she provides expert guidance to do so responsibly—working carefully and sensitively to mitigate risks to individuals while empowering them to speak their truth and safeguard their wellbeing.
Because when stories are shared safely, they don’t just inform—they transform.
Investigations, Reviews & Audits — Responsive Safeguarding for a Changing World
Children and young people’s lives are constantly evolving—and so must the organisations that support them. At Nimo Safeguarding, there is a deep understanding that unexpected challenges can arise: an internal incident, a societal shift, or a reportable incident to a regulator such as the Charity Commission. These moments demand swift, informed action—without derailing an organisation’s core mission.
That’s where I step in!
With extensive sector experience and a calm, collaborative approach, I provide independent support, guidance, and leadership for:
• Safeguarding investigations or management of allegations
• Organisational reviews
• Policy and process audits
Whether responding to a serious incident or proactively strengthening systems, I help organisations navigate complexity with clarity—so they can stay focused on what matters most: delivering safe, impactful services.
